The Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), founded by the American Osteopathic Association, has been providing medical facilities with an objective review of their services since 1945.
Today, the HFAP accredits hundreds of hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers across the United States.
Given the increased visibility and importance attached to quality of care, surgery centers must be certain their accreditation will withstand public scrutiny. The HFAP has been recognized by the federal government, state governments and managed care organizations since 1945 for its objective review of medical facilities and their services.
In any accreditation process, surgery centers never loose site of the ultimate goal, which is to provide safe, quality care to patients. Quality and safety are our patients number one concern. HFAP accreditation is our Quality Seal of Approval. Accreditation by HFAP validates the Evansville Surgery Center’s commitment to quality, safety, and exceptional standards of performance.
